Insiders Reveal the ‘Over-The-Top’ Way Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Stay Happy in Their Long-Distance Relationship
As many loyal Taylor Swift fans know, the billionaire songstress is in the works to make her Hollywood directional debut (despite already directing quite a few of her music videos and short films). While the film is still quite hush-hush, we do know it’s a movie she has written, and will direct with the help of Disney; and that it will start being made after her Eras tour officially ends on Dec 8, 2024. But now, insiders are claiming there’s a battle in Hollywood between stars who want to produce this long-awaited film: Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon.
Insiders talked to Life and Style Magazine about both Lively and Witherspoon wanting to produce Swift’s Disney film.
“This is not a drill: Taylor is gearing up to make her Hollywood directorial debut and the plan is for it to happen later this year. She is writing the script but officially, there is no real producer on the movie yet,” they said. “Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon both want this job and both of them have deep ties to Taylor. It’s going to come down to who Taylor thinks can make her dreams of becoming a Hollywood auteur come true more fully.”
As many people know, Swift and Lively are best friends, and she’s even the godmother to her children. As for Witherspoon, their friendship is a bit low-key, but we do know she made an original song for her for the movie she produced: Where the Crawdads Sing.
However, when it comes to producing, Swift is reportedly stuck on picking. Lively has produced two projects: It Ends With Us and the upcoming mystery entitled The Husband’s Secret.
As for Witherspoon, she’s produced nearly 50 projects, including Where the Crawdads Sing and Gone Girl.
“Taylor is close personally to Blake but Blake is still working to find her voice as a producer,” the insider continued to the outlet. “Meanwhile, Reese is far more experienced at producing movies and even scored a win for Taylor with their unexpectedly successful collab on Where The Crawdads Sing.”
So, it’s really anyone’s guess right now, but no matter, we’re excited to find out!
