Over the summer, Deadpool & Wolverine became the top-grossing R-rated film of all time, exceeding all expectations for the franchise. Critics gave it strong marks, and so did audiences. But if one were to offer a complaint, perhaps it’s that it could use a little bit more Peter, the endearingly dorky character who became a fan favorite thanks to Rob Delaney’s performance in Deadpool 2.
Well, ask and you shall receive.
In a deleted scene from the movie, Peter finds love, sharing a kiss with Loki‘s B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku). The Hollywood Reporter won’t spoil the rest, but you can watch the exclusive clip below.
The film hit digital on Oct. 1, and arrives on physical media on Oct. 22. In addition to deleted scenes like the one featuring Peter, there’s also featurettes and commentary from filmmaker Shawn Levy and star Ryan Reynolds, who co-wrote and produced alongside Levy.
The film has grossed $1.33 billion since debuting in late July, making it the top grossing film of the year globally, behind Inside Out 2.
Delaney brought Peter to life in Deadpool 2, where he played the one member of the X-Force team without superpowers. Nicknamed “Sugarbear” by Deadpool, Peter died during their first mission — along with most of the team. But Deadpool saved Peter in a post-credits scene using Cable’s time-travel device, just making him back in action for Deadpool & Wolverine.
