We all saw the magic when Lokesh Kanagaraj collaborated with Thalapathy Vijay. First Master and then Leo, both films emerged victorious at the worldwide box office, with the latter one turning out to be the second highest-grossing Kollywood film of all time. Apart from the collection, fans liked how Lokesh presented Vijay on the big screen. Now, everyone is excited to see the director make the most of Rajini’s rocking persona.
Thalaivar 171 inspired by a Hollywood film?
As per the Track Tollywood report, Thalaivar 171 is said to be inspired by the 2013 Hollywood film Purge. Talking about Purge’s story, the film has a plot that follows the American government, allowing a period of 12 hours annually, during which all criminal activities are legal. During the same period, one can’t call the police, or even hospitals deny help to the victims.
Such a concept has never been witnessed in Indian cinema, and if it’s really inspired by Purge, Thalaivar 171 will be batshit crazy experience for fans.
