POstable fans, he time has come for more mail service stories with a whole lot of heart!
Signed, Sealed, Delivered is returning after a three-year hiatus with not one — but two! — new movies on the Hallmark Channel. The first, titled Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters, is coming to the network in 2024, while Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back will premiere in 2025.
The official bio for the first film says that characters Oliver (Eric Mabius), Shane (Kristin Booth), Rita (Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe) and Norman (Geoff Gustafson) will “work on identifying the intended recipients of a trio of dead letters which have a surprising, personal impact on all of them.” In addition, Oliver and Shane’s “honeymoon phase” has ended, and their love life may be a part of the story.
In 2025, fans will see some “exciting life changes” for the bunch as To the Moon and Back airs. “Their latest investigation takes them on a road trip to not only find the recipient of a lost letter, but to track down a rock star who holds the keys,” Hallmark teases.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered is returning thanks to its ultra-loyal fans, who have carried on the stories even during the franchise hiatus.
“The enduring support from our ‘POstable’ fans over the past eleven years has been our constant motivation and inspiration,” creator Martha Williamson said in a press release. “They have waited so long for another chapter in the lives of their beloved Dead Letter family, all the while continuing to keep the flame alive with podcasts, posts, and even in-person gatherings throughout the country. There are no fans like SSD fans, and we are thrilled and humbled to continue this remarkable journey with them.”
There have already been 13 Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies, which follow the employees of Oliver’s Dead Letter Office — a branch of the mail service dedicated to reuniting undeliverable letters with their rightful owners.
