While Marvel has only one MCU film scheduled for 2024, it promises to be grand as Deadpool officially joins the franchise, potentially reshaping MCU history. Despite speculation about Swift appearing in Deadpool 3, reports indicate that the global pop star won’t be part of the cast. This confirmation comes after neither Shawn Levy nor Ryan Reynolds confirmed or denied Swift’s involvement. Earlier rumours suggested Taylor Swift could play the X-Men mutant Dazzler or Lady Deadpool.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed Taylor Swift won’t be part of the MCU, though they didn’t provide further details regarding their claim. This news emerged after several theatrical posters, including an IMAX poster, were dropped recently. One of these posters featured the two heroes holding hands and wearing friendship bracelets resembling those from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. EW further stated that rumours about Swift’s involvement circulated online after Reynolds and Jackman were spotted at Kansas City Chiefs games with director Shawn Levy and Swift, who was supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Despite these connections, Swift’s appearance in Deadpool 3 remains unconfirmed by the studio.

There is also speculation that Ryan Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively, might appear as the female version of Wade Wilson in Deadpool and Wolverine. However, fans are now convinced that it might actually be Taylor Swift. The recent trailer featured a brief clip showing only the legs of a suit, sparking further debate. The rumours gained traction after Reynolds shared a cryptic caption in the latest trailer that read, “I hope everyone gets to work with their best friend at least once in their lifetime. I know I can’t wait to finally do it.” This hint has left fans excited about the surprise in the upcoming film.

Most people know that Reynolds and Blake Lively share a close bond with Taylor Swift, as the couple is often seen attending NFL games with the singer and her Eras Tour concerts as well.
