Mutiny, the upcoming film starring Jason Statham and Annabelle Wallis, has finally confirmed its release date.
The action-thriller sees Statham play Cole Reed, a former Special Forces and police officer who goes on the run after being framed for the murder of his billionaire industrialist boss, uncovering an international conspiracy in the process.
Following the release of its first image back in November, fans have been eager to know when we can see Statham in action once more, and they now have their answer after its US theatrical release was set for January 9, 2026 (via Deadline).

Though its release has been confirmed in the US, there is no word on when Mutiny will be released in the UK, where it is billed as a Sky Original Film; it’s also unknown if the film will be theatrically released before its premiere on Sky Cinema.
In addition to Statham and Wallis, the cast for Mutiny includes Jason Wong, Roland Møller, Arnas Fedaravičius and Adrian Lester, with Jean-François Richet (Plane) directing from a script by Lindsay Michel and JP Davis.
Whilst Mutiny is still some time away from hitting the big screen, Statham will soon be seen in A Working Man, which sees the action star collaborate once more with The Beekeeper director David Ayer.
The film, which is based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade, sees Statham play Levon Cade, a former Royal Marines commando who now leads a peaceful life as a construction worker.

However, Levon is forced to use his old set of skills to find his boss’s teenage daughter Jenny (Arianna Rivas) following her kidnapping. After investigating the case, Levon soon uncovers a conspiracy involving corruption, government agencies and human trafficking.
Statham and Rivas are joined in the cast by David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Noemi Gonzalez and Emmett J Scanlan, with Rocky star Sylvester Stallone co-writing the screenplay alongside Ayer.
Mutiny is scheduled to be released in cinemas on January 9, 2026; A Working Man will be released on March 28.
