One of Netflix‘s biggest ever hits returns to the platform this May, with the first part of Bridgerton season 3 set to arrive.
It will join other brand new additions to the library such as A Man in Full, starring Jeff Daniel, Eric, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and Geek Girl, starring Emily Carey – all of which are releasing this month.
Of course, that’s not all – there are also new films on the horizon, such as Jerry Seinfeld’s new comedy Unfrosted, Brooke Shields’s rom-com Mother of the Bride and Jennifer Lopez’s sci-fi Atlas.

- Dr Stone season 1 – First season of the Japanese anime series.
- Frankly Speaking season 1 – South Korean melodrama/comedy series.

- Simon season 1-4 – All four seasons of the French animated children’s series.
- The Mauritanian (2021) – Legal drama film based on the true story of a man who was held without charge in Guantanamo Bay for 14 years, starring Tahar Rahim, Jodie Foster, Shailene Woodley and Benedict Cumberbatch.

- Raising Voices season 1 – Spanish drama series about a 17-year-old who reports a sexual assault at her high school and the investigation that follows.
Last month on Netflix also saw a host of big new releases, with series and films such as Ripley, Scoop, Baby Reindeer, Heartbreak High season 2, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver and Dead Boy Detectives being added to the service.

- Parasyte: The Grey season 1 – Korean sci-fi series about the fightback when unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power.
- Scoop (2024) – Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes and Rufus Sewell star in this dramatisation of the book of the same name, about the 2019 Newsnight interview between Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew.
- What Jennifer Did – True crime documentary film.
- Baby Reindeer – British drama series about a struggling comedian who becomes the object of a vulnerable woman’s obsession after he shows her one act of kindness.
- Heartbreak High season 2 – Second season of the Australian comedy-drama reboot series.
- Our Living World season 1 – Nature documentary series narrated by Cate Blanchett.
- Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver (2024) – Second film in Zack Snyder’s epic sci-fi project, once again starring Sofia Boutella.
- Dead Boy Detectives season 1 – Supernatural series based on the comic by Neil Gaiman, about two boys who decide not to enter the afterlife and instead stay on Earth investigating supernatural crimes.
- The Asunta Case – Fictional Spanish thriller series inspired by the murder of Asunta Basterra in Spain in 2013.
