What should you watch this weekend?

Every single week, streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and Disney+ debut new series, new seasons and new movies fighting for your time and attention. You’ll find high-profile originals everybody is talking about to foreign acquisitions that you trip over while scrolling through the apps to hidden gems amongst the mediocre. It’s hard to sort through it all.

To help, we’ve listed out every new film, series and special that will stream June 12-15, 2025, across the major platforms. We’ve highlighted the TV shows (and a few movies) we think are a little more worth your notice, from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Netflix explosion-fest “FUBAR” to the fifth season of religious drama “The Chosen.” You might find something perfect to watch this Father’s Day with your dad.

  • Schwarzenegger returns for a second season of his popular spy comedy, as “The Matrix” star Carrie-Anne Moss joins the cast.

• “Atsuko Okatsuka: Father” (comedy special, Hulu)

• “Best Wishes to All” (movie, Japan, Shudder)

• “Echo Valley” (movie, Apple TV+)

  • Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson and Kyle MacLachlan star in Apple’s latest thriller, from the writer of “Mare of Easttown.” Moore plays a desperate mother trying to save her daughter (Sweeney) after she shows up one night covered in blood.

• “Kings of Jo’Burg” (South Africa, Netflix)

• “Not a Box” (kids/family, Apple TV+)

• “Rana Naidu” (India, Netflix)

• “Resident Alien” Season 4 (Peacock)

  • Debuting on streaming a week after it premiered on Syfy, this charming comedy starring Alan Tudyk returns for more alien-out-of-spaceship high jinks.

• “Super Sara” (Spain, Max)

New on streaming Sunday, June 15

• “The Chosen” Season 5 (Prime Video)

  • The new season of the religious series resumes where the previous one left off, capturing a crowd celebrating the arrival in Jerusalem of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) at the start of the week (known as Palm Sunday) and ending before Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane.
