POTENTIALLY CONTROVERSIAL OPINION: March is one of the best months of the year. While it’s always bittersweet saying goodbye to summer, March is always pleasantly temperate; it beckons for some of our best wardrobe options (boots, trench coats, and light layering); transforms our towns, parklands and cities into all shades of crimson, burgundy, and tangerine; and is just as welcoming to hours spent at cosy wine bars as it is to those reclined on the couch. It’s also the perfect time to catch up on some light (or heavy) binge-watching as the days draw to a close.
This March, we’re particularly excited for a number of new series and documentaries — including Meghan Markle’s much-anticipated lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. Hosted on Netflix, the Duchess of Sussex is set to invite celebrity guests “to roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden and beyond” and share some personal home secrets. Over on BINGE, we have weekly episode drops of The White Lotus season three; Stan brings us the adaptation of Liz Moore’s bestselling novel, Long Bright River; and Prime Video delivers us another wildly unpredictable thriller starring Nicole Kidman, titled Holland.
Below, we round up the best programs to stream across all platforms in March.

With Love, Meghan, lifestyle series — March 4
Following multiple delays, including one related to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle show is now hitting Netflix. An extension of the Duchess of Sussex’s new lifestyle brand, As Ever (which is also, seemingly, an extension of her early wellness blogging days), Markle partnered with Netflix to bring her cooking, gardening and hosting tips and tricks to the homely masses.
Throughout eight unscripted episodes, the American royal will “embrace playfulness over perfection” and highlight the ease at which beauty and memorable moments can be created — along with a few famous friends. With Love, Meghan will feature guest appearances from husband Prince Harry, as well as US comedy writer Mindy Kaling and chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters, seeing them “roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden and beyond” — inviting you to do the same. Expect plenty of As Ever Easter eggs and teased products (such as nut butters, gardening tools, and decorative linen, as reported in the initial business trademark applications in 2024) — which will likely sell out as soon as it hits the shelves.
Adolescence, series — March 13

The White Lotus, season three — weekly episodes each Monday
Few shows lend itself to the cultural impact, episode examination and meme-worthy content that The White Lotus does. It balances nuanced writing with thought-out character development, considers the sexual and social politics of the great American tourist, selects niche emerging and established actors, and of course, delivers some pretty lustful scenery — all at the hands of the excellent Mike White. This time, though, the “eat the rich” black comedy sets up shop (hotel, specifically) in Thailand with a whole new cast for us to love to hate.
Following the exploits and debauchery of four groups of guests — a trio of girls; a Southern family; a new couple; and even an interning White Lotus staff member (AKA. season one’s Belinda, the Hawaiian White Lotus spa manager) — expect plenty of social satire and twists and turns — and a lack of patience. The weekly episode drops are the biggest killer here.

What’s new on Prime Video Australia in March 2025

Holland, film — March 27
Definitely one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood, Nicole Kidman returns to our screens for another mind-bending thriller this March. Her latest film, brought to us by Prime Video, sees a perfectly-preened Kidman as Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose “picture-perfect life” with her community-minded husband (played by Matthew Macfadyen, AKA. the subservient Tom in Succession) and son (Belfast‘s breakout star Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan becomes the stuff of nightmares.
After Nancy and her “friendly colleague” (Gael García Bernal) become suspicious of a secret, they soon realise nothing in their small town lives is really what it seems. Directed by Mimi Cave, known for her critically-acclaimed dark comedy and thriller Fresh, we’re sure Holland will feature much of her off-beat humour fused with brilliantly disturbing sequences — to induce all the skin-crawling, spine-tingling sensations.
Picture This, film — March 6
It Ends With Us, film — March 6
The Wheel of Time, season two — March 13
The Crow, film — March 27

Long Bright River, series — March 13
Amanda Seyfried fronts another thrilling limited series, following 2022’s The Dropout, based on con artist Elizabeth Holmes; and 2023’s The Crowded Room, inspired by acquitted criminal Billy Milligan. This time, however, she plays a Philadelphia cop — and the material is entirely fictional. Based on the #1 New York Times bestselling novel from Liz Moore, Seyfried plays Mickey, a Philadelphia cop in the midst of a widespread opioid crisis. When a series of brutal female murders begin in the neighbourhood, Mickey sets out to find her sister — an addict gone missing. Long Bright River also stars Australian actor Ashley Cummings of Puberty Blues and Citadel.
Ten Pound Poms, season two — March (date TBA)
What’s new on Disney+ Australia in March 2025
Good American Family, series — March 19
When docuseries The Curious Case of Natalia Grace hit screens back in 2023, it both shocked and captivated viewers. It followed the bizarre story of an American couple, Kristine and Michael Barnett, who in 2010 adopted a girl from Ukraine — only to later realise and allege she wasn’t actually a nine-year-old girl, but an adult with dwarfism who tried to kill their family. Sound familiar? Yes, they also expressed some of those insane parallels to the 2009 horror film, Orphan (quite possibly one of the most disturbing films ever made).
Inspired by the Midwestern couple’s precarious circumstances, Disney+’s new limited series, Good American Family stars Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) and Mark Duplass (The Morning Show) as the Barnetts. Told from multiple points of view, it explores the complex issues of perspective, bias, and trauma — while trying to convey some of the terrors the parents and their three biological children alleged they endured. “As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, she fights her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds, in a showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom,” Disney+ says. Cautionary advice — don’t watch this one late at night alone.
Born Again, series — March 5
Deli Boys, series — March 6
O’Dessa, film — March 20
David Blaine: Do Not Attempt, docuseries — March 24
