Actor Kavin who made a name for himself with his stint at the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3, has since appeared in notable Tamil films like Lift (2021), Dada (2023) and Star (2024). Kavin’s next movie Bloody Beggar with debut director Sivabalan Muthukumar, is set for a Diwali release this month. 

The filmmaker has said that Bloody Beggar is an intense drama film with black comedy elements. Actress Akshaya Hariharan plays female lead in Bloody Beggar, though she is not paired opposite Kavin in the movie. Bloody Beggar‘s runtime is 2 hours and 17 minutes, and the film’s censor is currently awaited. 

Bloody Beggar‘s story takes place in one night, and it comes with a lot of quirky incidents. Besides his beggar avatar, actor Kavin will be seen in one more look in the movie (Bloody Beggar first single Naan Yaar already revealed a vintage jazz version of the actor). 

A maiden production venture of director Nelson Dilipkumar’s Filament Pictures, Bloody Beggar has Jen Martin for music, and Think Music India as the film’s official audio label. Five Star K Senthil is releasing Bloody Beggar in Tamil Nadu. The technical crew of the film also includes Sujith Sarang for cinematography, R. Nirmal for edits.

Bloody Beggar also stars Redin Kingsley, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukadha, T M Karthik, Padam Venu Kumar, Arshad, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Miss Saleema, Akshaya Hariharan, Anarkali Nazar, Dhivya Vikram, Tanuja Madhurapantula, Rohit Denis, Vidyuth Ravi, Mohammed Bilal, U.Sree Saravanan, among others.
