The upcoming romantic comedy-drama directed by Sriram Adittya, ‘Manamey,’ starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, is generating buzz as it gears up for its release this weekend, on June 7. This musical film, directed by Sriram Adittya, has been heavily promoted, and fans are eagerly anticipating its release.

Composer Hesham Abdul Wahab, who has produced the film’s soundtrack, shared his experiences and insights into the creative process. Recently, it has been quite rare for films to feature a total of 16 compositions. According to Hesham, when he and the director began working on the film, they did not initially plan to have so many songs. They ended up composing 10 songs for the first half of the movie and realized that another six were needed for the second half, according to an interview reported by Cinema Express.

Describing ‘Manamey’ as a “musical film,” Hesham emphasized that the songs play a crucial role in advancing the narrative. He praised director Sriram Adittya for his vision and inspiration throughout the process, which allowed Hesham to fully showcase his musical expertise. This project marks the first time Hesham has created such an extensive soundtrack for a single film.

So far, three songs from ‘Manamey’ have been released and have been well received by the audience.

The film is about Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, who are seen taking on the responsibility of a toddler, played by the director’s son, Vikram Adittya.
