The movie became a commercial success by grossing ₹84 crore, thus becoming the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2004. 1. ‘Chale Jaise Hawaien’ was shot in a single take!

Do you remember the song ‘Chale Jaise Hawaien’, the introductory song of Amrita Arora and Zayed Khan? The song was sung by Vasundhara Das and K.K. Did you know that the song was shot in a single take? It is true. The camera angles were set perfectly and the dancers were trained thoroughly which made this song not only a success, but one of the songs that were shot in a single take.

2. ‘Gori Gori’ starred Geeta Kapur and Sajid Khan

Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, K.K. and Anu Malik, the song starred SRK, Zayed, Amrita and Sushmita Sen. The song started with a band that also starred Farah Khan’s real brother Sajid Khan. In one of the takes, we could also see Indian choreographer Geeta Kapur make a cameo.

3. Shah Rukh Khan loved the title of the movie only after listening to the title track

Shah Rukh Khan originally did not like the title of the movie believing it sounded incomplete. It was not until he heard the title song, when he believed the title was perfect. The song was sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.

4. Shah Rukh Khan hated his dance steps in the song ‘Tumse Milke Dilka Jo Haal’

“Muh toh band karo uncle!” While we all loved the song immensely, Shah Rukh Khan hated his dance steps to Tumse Milke, but Farah Khan eventually convinced him to complete the steps.

5. Farah Khan wanted to have re-created Rahul Dev Burman music

Here is yet another fun fact you did not know! Farah Khan wanted to have re-created Rahul Dev Burman music in the movie, but she chose not to, because the movie Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002) had done the exact same thing. She then told music director Anu Malik to make the music R.D. Burman style. Farah and Anu Malik were judging Indian Idol together and Farah had also revealed on the show that she would ask Anu Malik to give music for her directorial debut film.
