Every song on the 28 Years Later soundtrack

June 19, 20252 Mins Read

Director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland have reunited for 28 Years Later, a follow-up to one of their most successful collaborations.

The sequel to 2002’s 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later continues the post-apocalyptic horror on a small island off the coast of England, where a father takes his young son to the mainland for the first time.

Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Alfie Williams lead the film’s cast, alongside Ralph Fiennes, Erin Kellyman, Edvin Ryding and Jack O’Connell.

The film was shot back-to-back with its sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which is set to be released in January 2026.

Who composed the 28 Years Later soundtrack?

The film’s score is by Scottish hip-hop trio Young Fathers, who previously collaborated with Danny Boyle on songs for T2 Trainspotting.

However, 28 Years Later marks the group’s first full soundtrack, which features a recording of Rudyard Kipling’s poem ‘Boots’.

What other songs feature in the film?

While the film is mostly centred around the score, there are some songs sprinkled throughout, namely ‘Delilah’ by Tom Jones and the Teletubbies theme.
