One of the most awaited Kannada films of 2024, ‘Bagheera’, has just released its first single, ‘Rudhira Dhaara’, on October 17, 2024. This song, dubbed the “Anthem of Justice,” features music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, who previously earned fame for his work on Kantara. Aniruddha Shastry lends both his voice and lyrical prowess to the track, while the Telugu version, titled ‘Rudhira Haara’, has lyrics penned by Rambabu Gosala.
The song ‘Rudhira Dhaara’ effectively sets the tone for the film, which is a noir action thriller centered around the theme of vigilantism. Lyrics such as ‘truth, honour, justice, Satyameva Jayathe’ emphasize the values the lead character, ‘Bagheera’, upholds.

‘Bagheera’ has been generating significant excitement, especially since the story comes from Prashanth Neel, one of the most sought-after directors in Indian cinema. Neel is known for delivering massive hits like the KGF series with Yash, and Salaar, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is directed by DR Suri, who previously worked as a writer on Neel’s ‘Salaar’.
Loknath has already proven his versatility, especially after the success of his Kantara soundtrack, which became an integral part of the film despite facing its share of controversies.
