Kavin who has appeared as a lead hero in four films titled Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019), Lift (2021), Dada (2023) and Star (2024), is currently gearing up for his next big project. Buzz in K-town is that Kavin will next be seen alongside leading actress Nayanthara, in a movie to be directed by a debutant.

Writer, lyricist Vishnu Edavan who has previously worked as filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s associate on Kaithi (2019), Master (2021) and Vikram (2022) is said to be directing the Kavin, Nayanthara combo. 7 Screen Studio which is currently bankrolling Love Insurance Corporation (directed by Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan), is expected to be producing the Kavin, Nayanthara, Vishnu Edavan movie.

For 7 Screen Studio, Vishnu Edavan had previously penned lyrics for songs like Naa Ready, Anbenum and Badass from Vijay starrer Leo (2023). Vishnu Edavan has also worked on a Kavin movie, penning lyrics for songs like Pogathey, Thayaga Naan, Kirutu Kirutu from Dada.
