Vineeth Sreenivasan’s film ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ featuring Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead roles, hit the theatres on April 11. The film received a good response in the theatres, and especially the music managed to find a place in the hearts of music lovers.
The makers of ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ have now launched another song from the film. ‘Njaanaalunna’ song from the film is sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The lyrics are penned by Vaisakh Sugunan, and the music is composed by Amrit Ramnath.

Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ has an ensemble cast of Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, and Nivin Pauly, among others. The film revolves around the lives of two young men who pursue their cinema dreams.
ETimes rated ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ 3 out of 5 and wrote, “Almost 20 years after Mohanlal and Sreenivasan did a film together about celluloid dreams, titled Udayananu Tharam, their sons have come together in a film on the same theme, but with a different feel. While Varshangalkku Shesham is also about missed opportunities, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, which spans about 50 years, is at its heart a story of friendship, with lots of in-jokes woven in. Vineeth’s script, where the two friends blow hot and blow cold, doesn’t flow smoothly. And while audiences loved the jokes referencing Sreenivasan or the industry, the rest of the humor doesn’t really land. Also, it’s a bit disappointing that there are no prominent female characters. From such a fun team, we would have expected a more engaging, moving film.”
