Parineeti Chopra is gearing up for the release of her film, Amar Singh Chamkila. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Parineeti as Amarjot Kaur, while Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular role. For a while now, Parineeti has been sharing glimpses of her upcoming film on her official Instagram account. The actress posted a video on her Instagram handle, wherein she can be seen vibing to the song Pehle Lalkare Naal, crooned by Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur.

Parineeti Chopra took to her IG handle and shared the video with a caption that read, “Whatta song! Chamkila and Amarjot are the legends the world will never get again (sic).” In the video, the actress can be seen vibing to Pehle Lalkare Naal while getting her hair and makeup done. Meanwhile, the actress and her co-star Diljit recreated some of Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot Kaur’s photos. Parineeti mentioned that recreating those images and seeing them today gave her goosebumps. And now, she cannot wait for people to see the world of Chamkila.

Parineeti Chopra on working in Amar Singh Chamkila
A few days ago, Parineeti shared her experience of working on Amar Singh Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh, director Imtiaz Ali and music composer AR Rahman.
The actress wrote, “I’m immensely thankful for Chamkila imtiazaliofficial sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard. diljitdosanjh, you were the perfect co-star, making every moment on set enjoyable and effortless. arrahman sir, being musically directed by you – a thing of dreams. And the entire team who made this film (sic).”
Meanwhile, a special screening of Amar Singh Chamkila was recently held in Mumbai. A few Bollywood celebrities, who watched the film, shared positive reviews on social media. The Imtiaz Ali directorial will drop on Netflix on April 12, 2024.
