The countdown is officially on for Jon M. Chu’s Wicked Part 1 as tickets went on sale for the film on Oct. 9. Pink and green and good and evil are just a few of the things that will collide in the first film, which arrives in theaters Nov. 22 alongside Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II.
Starring Ariana Grande as Galinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba as well as Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Bowen Yang as Pfannee, Marissa Bode as NessaRose, Bronwyn James as ShenShen, Ethan Slater as Boq and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero. Peter Dinklage voices Dr. Dillamond, the goat professor.
The whole cast sings musical numbers at points, and Part Two will likely contain the latter half of the songs missing from this list. For the first half of the Wicked soundtrack, read on. The album will release when the movie comes out.
