Coolie titled after a 1995 Sarathkumar – P Vasu film, is an upcoming Rajinikanth starrer that marks his maiden collaboration with popular writer, director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie, a production venture of Sun Pictures is all set to roll now, and Rajinikanth during his recent spiritual trip to Uttarakhand has revealed that Coolie will begin shooting from June 10, 2024 [Monday]. 

Touted to feature Rajini in a grey-shaded lead character, Coolie has Anirudh Ravichander for music. The movie also has Sathyaraj in an important role.
