Ram Gopal Varma explores ‘dangerous obsession’ with AI-generated music in ‘Saaree’

Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma is known for bringing intrigue to every announcement he makes, and with his latest film ‘Saaree,’ he has unveiled two surprises for the audience. The first is the casting of Malayalam actress Aaradhya Devi as the lead. The second is the introduction of songs created through Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. A video for one such AI-generated song has been released.

The film features a song titled ‘I Want Love,’ written by Sirasri, composed by DSR Balaji, and sung by Keertana Sesh. This AI version of the song has now been released. Ram Gopal Varma and his team have presented the original song in a new form with the assistance of AI. Aaradhya Devi, appearing in a highly glamorous manner, is the main attraction of the song.

Earlier, Ram Gopal Varma had announced that he and his partner, Ravi Varma, have launched RGV-Den, a platform featuring AI-composed music. In his new film ‘Saaree’, all songs and background music have been created using AI. Through a press release, Varma shared his excitement about this experiment, stating that AI was responsible for the entire soundtrack of the film. He also expressed his belief that AI will soon dominate the music industry

Produced by Ravi Varma and directed by Giri Krishna Kamal, ‘Saaree’ tells the story of an intense obsession a young man feels toward a saree-clad woman, which later turns dangerous. The tagline of the film is “Too much love can be scary.” The movie is set to release on November 4 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
