Song Ji Hyo has reportedly landed a role in the new film The Rescuer. The actress’s agency, NEXUS E&M, responded to the news by announcing, “She’s positively reviewing the offer to star in The Rescuer.”
The Rescuer is an occult horror film that tells the story of a family desperate for what can only be described as a miracle. They believe they have finally found their miracle, only to discover it is embodied by an elderly man. The film aims to blend themes of the eerie genre with suspense elements and the supernatural.

Confirmation has come for Song Ji Hyo as she is reported to be returning to the screen after nearly three years since her last drama appearance in 2021’s The Witch’s Diner and her first film outing since the 2020 release Intruder.
