The makers of the upcoming film Thaanara unveiled a new song from the film titled Sona Ladki through their social media pages on Wednesday, August 21. The song has an old-school feel, offering a throwback to songs from the ’60s with a hint of quirky naughtiness sung by Nevin C Delson. The Gopi Sundar composition has lyrics by Harinarayanan BK. The music video has been primarily pictured on actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan, who plays an important character in the film. The upcoming comedy entertainer film features Shine Tom Chacko and Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead roles.
A Quirky Trailer
The trailer of Thaanara of the film was released by the film’s makers recently. The trailer begins with a voiceover from Shine in character as Adarsh Sreevaraham, introducing Vishnu’s character Ramamoorthy as an influential figure in “Delhi politics”. Through a montage of hilarious, quirky, and fun-filled shots that follow, the viewer is introduced to the other primary actors in the film: Deepti Sati as Sradha, Aju Varghese as James Bond, Sneha Babu as Asha, and Chinnu Chandni as Anjali. The trailer promises an extremely fun comedy of errors and an all-round quirky performances from the entire cast.

Thaanara has been written by Raffi, the legendary writer best known for co-writing many iconic Malayalam comedy entertainers such as Punjabi House (1998) and Thenkasipattanam (2002) with his long-time collaborator Meccartin. The upcoming film has Vishnu Narayanan wielding the camera, V Saajan on editing, and Gopi Sundar composing the soundtrack abnd original songs. The upcoming film has been bankrolled by Biju V Mathai, along with co-producer Suja Mathai. KR Jayakumar and Biju MP have served as its executive producers.
The film will hit the big screens on August 23.
