Vertical has dropped the A Sacrifice trailer for its upcoming crime thriller, starring Eric Bana (Troy, The Time Traveler’s Wife) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things).
The video features Bana as a psychologist researching about a cult connected to a mass suicide, while being unaware that his daughter is beginning to get targeted by the group. The film will be arriving in theaters on June 28.
“A Sacrifice is an emotionally turbulent story that follows American social psychologist Ben Monroe who is investigating a local Berlin cult connected to disturbing events,” reads the synopsis. “While he immerses himself in his work, his rebellious teenage daughter, Mazzy, becomes embroiled with a mysterious local boy who introduces her to the city’s underground party scene.
