A concept trailer has been shared online to imagine what a live-action film adaptation of Batman Beyond might look like. Though it was made with artificial intelligence, the trailer has gone viral, adding to the demand from fans for the animated series to finally get a feature film adaptation.
The trailer was shared to YouTube by stryder HD. Though it doesn’t include any action, it features moving images of different actors as they might appear playing various heroes and villains. That includes Wonka actor Timothee Chalamet in the lead role. The trailer can be watched below.

DC announces a final act for Batman: The Long Halloween, with creator Jeph Loeb returning to the series and honoring late co-creator Tim Sale.
The uploader said in the video’s description that the film is imagined as a movie directed by Tim Burton. Actors featured in the video include Timothee Chalamet as Terry McGinnis and Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, playing the different versions of Batman with the latter serving as a mentor for the former. Also imagined is Willem Dafoe as The Joker, a popular fantasy casting pick that’s been around for years, while an older Henry Cavill as Superman is tossed in for good measure.

Why The Justice League Will Always Need Batman
Batman has shown his skills and proven time and time again why the Justice League needs him around in a few of the Dark Knight’s best comic stories.
There are rumors that DC Studios squashed a planned live-action adaptation of Batman Beyond. Though this hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s been reported that Michael Keaton was wanted to star as an older Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond film following his return in The Flash. However, because The Flash fell short of expectations, followed by DC Studios launching the all-new DCU timeline, the project was reportedly nixed. While there do not seem to be any plans at this time to make a Batman Beyond film, a concept trailer was recently made for a potential animated movie similar to the Spider-Verse films.
For now, fans can always go and revisit the original animated series. Batman Beyond can currently be found streaming on Max.
