Marking the second sports-themed anime feature film that CrunchyRoll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will have screening in cinemas across June (The other being Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle), Blue Lock the Movie -Episode Nagi- is set to arrive in North American cinemas starting Friday 28 June 2024.
With less than a month ago until its cinematic debut outside of Japan, CrunchyRoll has shared the below English-subtitled trailer for Blue Lock the Movie -Episode Nagi-. While just over a minute in length, it should hopefully give fans a taste of what’s to come. While the trailer is only subtitled, both Japanese Audio + English Subtitles, and English Dub options will be available in cinemas.
Blue Lock the Movie -Episode Nagi- is being directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa, featuring character designs by Yusuke Nomura, composition and screenplay by Taku Kishimoto, music by Jun Murayama and all that wonderful animation coming from Eightbit, the studio also behind the TV season.
