What’s been the last great DC Comics video game not including the Batman: Arkham games? Maybe that will be DC: Dark Legion. We got a new trailer of the upcoming strategy game that looks like it has some potential.
From the official synopsis:
In DC: Dark Legion, you will be immersed in an all-new story set in the DC universe as you find yourself embroiled in an epic struggle against The Batman Who Laughs and his Dark Knights, twisted versions of the Justice League introduced in the best-selling DC comic series Dark Nights: Metal.

This will be a mobile game on IOS and Android devices likely around the fall.
There’s not a ton of details from distributor FunPlus as of now. The DC Dark Legion website attributes articles from SuperheroHype and IGN. That’s a little odd.
It would be nice to see more minority characters like John Stewart Green Lantern. For all of DC’s big push to be more inclusive and diverse it feels like the only character to break the Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Hal Jordan Green Lantern and Aquaman glass ceiling is Harley Quinn. At least in promotional materials.
With over 100 characters I’m sure the obvious diverse characters will show up, but I might not want to bet too much on Hardware, Icon & Rocket or Static showing up.
