The spine-tingling trailer sees Norwood’s character Belinda learn that her father-in-law has passed away and that his final request was for his wife to be cared for by his son and daughter-in-law.
“I’m willing to give you all the money I’ve got,” says the ailing mother, to which her son (Snow White‘s Andrew Burnap) replies: “Everything in me is telling me to run away.”
The family home is soon torn apart as the mother’s religious devotion begins drive a wedge between the characters. “She thinks that the Holy Spirit possesses her and gives her power,” explains Burnap.
