The makers of The Beast Within, starring Kit Harington and Ashleigh Cummings in the lead, unveiled the film’s trailer on Tuesday. The film is directed by Alexander J Farrell and co-written by him along with Greer Taylor Ellison.

The trailer shows Harington and his family living in the woods, trying to conceal something from the world. We then see his daughter finding out that her father transforms into a beastly being, and that’s why her parents go to the middle of the woods, every night. Things get worse when Harington’s monster threatens the life of his daughter.

The official description of The Beast Within reads, “After a series of strange events leads her to question her family’s isolated life on a fortified compound deep in the English wilds, 10-year-old Willow follows her parents on one of their secret late-night treks to the heart of the ancient forest. But upon witnessing her father undergo a terrible transformation, she too becomes ensnared by the dark ancestral secret they’ve tried so desperately to conceal.”

James Cosmo and Caoilinn Springall also star in prominent roles in The Beast Within. Merlin Merton, Martin Owen, Ryan Hamilton, Karl Hall, Sebastian Street, Alex Chang, Jack Christian, Evan Ross, Jordan Wagner, and Ying Ye are the producers of the upcoming film.

The Beast Within is all set to hit theatres on July 26.
