The first Venom: The Last Dance trailer has dropped, and Marvel fans are already making theories as to how the film links to Spider-Man.
Venom: The Last Dance is the final film of Tom Hardy’s Venom – and the trailer is absolutely bonkers.
Featuring a ‘Venom horse’, the symbiote dancing, and the titular black gooey monster biting the heads off of criminals – the trailer is jam-packed with things to talk about.

One particular part that fans are discussing, however, is someone they think they recognise…
It all started with a leak that claimed the plot of Venom: The Last Dance featured the character somehow defending a child version of Spider-Man aka Peter Parker.
Whilst this has never been potentially confirmed, fans saw hints that this might actually turn out to be true in the trailer.

Nando v Movies posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) to say: “I originally thought the ten year old Peter and Venom leak was bullsh*t but now I can see it.
“This kid is ten-year-old Peter with his mom and aunt May and here’s the back of his head in a completely different shot, probably when he’s on the run with Eddie.”
This was backed up by Matt Ramos, also known online as Supes, who went viral for simply posting ‘Peter and Aunt May #VenomTheLastDance’ with pictures of the kid in question from the trailer.
The trailer features a young kid, joined by two older women, who also clearly features in another scene.

Whilst some believe this could definitely be Peter Parker in some roundabout way, others are less convinced.
One fan posted in the replies to the post by Supes “People stretch way too far to get what they want.
“Just enjoy the trilogy and stop expecting these cameos”.
Another said: “If that’s the case than who’s the girl holding on to him supposed to be? I mean she looks like she could his sister or smth, and Peter is an only child so it can’t be him, y’all are always reaching so high ISTG, for all we know this could just be some random family”.

The girl holding onto the child has been a hot topic of debate, with some saying she is his mother, or pointing to a limited comic run where Peter Parker does actually have a sister.
Regardless of whether or not Peter Parker is in the film, I’m sure we can all agree on one thing…
The Venom horse alone is making this movie worth seeing.
