A new teaser for Netflix’s latest horror-thriller movie, Don’t Move, has been released, per Discussing Film on X.The movie starring Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone, Fagro) and Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story) is directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto and produced by Sam Raimi. T.J. Cimfel and David White wrote the script about a woman named Iris (Asbille) who has to escape a serial killer within 20 minutes as her body shuts down.
“You have about 20 minutes before you’re completely paralyzed,” says a male voice in the one-minute-long trailer. “What did you do to me?” asks Asbille’s Iris. “Just a special relaxant to make things easier on both of us,” the man says.

Then the male voice begins to tell Iris what will happen to her body over the course of the next 20 minutes. “At minute one, your fine motor skills will start to slow. Minute 15, your legs will give out altogether.” It continues, “18, your breathing will become labored…And just before everything shuts down on you, your voice.”
Iris is then heard whispering “Help me.”
Sam Raimi and the MCU
Legendary producer/director Raimi is a producer on Don’t Move. Raimi, known for The Evil Dead, the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is rumored to be reuniting with Marvel Studios.Reports suggest he is close to closing a deal to direct the sequel to his 2022 Doctor Strange movie, which was the director’s first in the MCU.
The third Doctor Strange movie has yet to be announced by Marvel Studios, but Raimi’s Multiverse of Madness was quite successful, grossing more than $955 million globally against a reported budget of about $350 million.

Another Spider-Man Movie for Raimi?
Raimi is also the subject of another film rumor as he’s also reportedly in talks to direct the sequel to 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, although, nothing official about a start date for the development of that project has been confirmed.
The director is, however, a top contender to helm the next Sony/Marvel Spider-Man film. Other names are vying for the job, including John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Game Night, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) as well as Jon Favreau (Iron Man).
In a previous interview, Raimi said he would like to work with Marvel again. “I love 90% of the Marvel heroes that I’ve read in the great Stan Lee Marvel Universe comic books. I would love to work with Marvel again,” he said. Raimi added, “They haven’t reasonably asked me to. I hope they had a good experience with me. They haven’t asked me yet. I hope they do,” he said.
Don’t Move is hitting Netflix on Oct. 25 – so viewers will have time to watch it during this Halloween season.
