The cast includesJordan Peele (Keanu), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), James Marsters (Superman: Doomsday), Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses), Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore), and Rich Fulcher (Wonka). RUMOR: Get Out Director Jordan Peele Met with Marvel for an Upcoming Film
Get Out director Jordan Peele might be bringing his unique vision to the MCU.
The completely unhinged trailer plays out like any conventional horror movie trailer would, except puppets are at the center of the unfolding mayhem. Accompanied by some classic horror-themed score, the trailer features some gory and gruesome moments, including puppet body part dismemberments. The official synopsis for the film reads, “Down-trodden Les Hackel wakes to find an explosive device has been implanted in his neck. He must carry out heinous crimes to stay alive while trying to identify the mastermind manipulating him.”
Peele’s Next Project Will Star Marlon Wayans
Peele has become one of the most prominent voices in the horror genre ever since his directorial debut, Get Out, became a cultural phenomenon back in 2017. In addition to the follow-up films he directed, Us and Nope, Peele has been remaining quite busy producing films under the banner Monkeypaw Productions, which he founded in 2012. Peele helped produce Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man, Candyman, HBO’s Lovecraft Country, and the innovative podcast drama Quiet Part Loud. His latest venture as a producer, will be for the upcoming horror thriller starring Marlon Wayans, titled Him.
