A new trailer for the Beetlejuice sequel has been released but some fans aren’t happy.
Michael Keaton cemented himself as a comedy genius to many with his portrayal of Beetlejuice in the 1988 classic.
And ever since then, film fanatics have asked for a follow up to the much-loved movie.
Well, 36 years later, that is finally coming to fruition with a new movie titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
As well as Keaton stepping back into his role, Catherine O’Hara’s Delia Deetz and Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz character are also making a return.
Jenna Ortega is also staring as the main protagonist, as we follow the story of new character Astrid Deetz.
A first trailer for the hugely anticipated squeal was released in March, with a follow-up releasing earlier this week.

The new trailer confirms the death of Deetz family member Charles, who was played by Jeffrey Jones in the original 1988 movie.
Many people’s takeaways from the new trailer is the introduction of new cast, including new characters played by Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci and Justin Theroux.
And while the latest trailer was pretty impressive, fans are all saying the same name as to who is missing.
Alec Baldwin featured as Uncle Adam in the original flick, but does not star in the 2024 sequel.
Baldwin was officially indicted on a charge of involuntary manslaughter earlier this year in relation to the death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust in 2021.
During filming, a prop gun that Baldwin was carrying went off and discharged a live round.
If convicted, Baldwin could face up to 18 months in prison over the alleged offence.

Nonetheless, some Beetlejuice fans are disappointed to not see Baldwin return for the sequel, with one user on X asking: “No Alec Baldwin??”
Others posted an image of his character and asked where he was in the trailer.
However, there is certainly a lot to look forward to with the Beetlejuice sequel.
Director Tim Burton, who is a welcomed return, previously said ‘nothing is out of the question’ with the legacy sequel.
Burton spoke previously however about how exhausting making big budget movies is.
“That’s why it is hard for me to watch the movies afterwards, because I still feel the emotional whatever of it,” he told the Independent.
“I don’t get a release from that. But I do enjoy all the people I’ve worked with. On this last one, Beetlejuice 2, I really enjoyed it.
“I tried to strip everything and go back to the basics of working with good people and actors and puppets. It was kind of like going back to why I liked making movies.”
