Mark your calendars, F1, starring Brad Pitt, will hit Philippine cinemas on June 25th. At the time of writing, that is exactly 100 days from now, and we simply cannot wait.
Over the weekend, Warner Bros. Philippines released the official trailer, which gave us a closer peek into the story. And it looks like Brad Pitt’s lead character, Sonny Hayes, won’t just be racing in an F1 car.

Called ‘the greatest that never was,’ aged racer Sonny Hayes will be attempting to cement his legacy with an F1 championship. Apart from that he will also need to build some synergy with his young and cocky teammate, played by Damson Idris. The latter parts of the trailer even reveal some romance between Hayes and who seems to be a deputy team manager.
Between all of that drama and romance is pulse-pounding, pedal-to-the-metal racing. There are crashes, fires, cheers, fights, and all the frustrated emotions that come with racing. We are truly in for a ride come June 25th.
At the helm of this movie is Joseph Konsinski, who most famously directed Top Gun: Maverick. With input from producer, seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, this movie should be both visually striking and emotionally wrenching. You’re definitely going to want the full theater experience when watching this movie.
