Among the ads before or during Super Bowl 2025 are a number of teaser trailers for movies coming out this year. Take a look at each of them below.

‘Novocaine’

Jack Quaid (The Boys) stars in this superhero action comedy about a man who feels no pain that uses his malady to rescue the girl of his dreams after she’s been kidnapped. Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olson, Novocaine—which also stars Amber Midthunder (Prey) and Ray Nicholson (Smile 2)—opens in theaters on March 14.

‘Thunderbolts*’

Thunderbolts* got a full trailer release for Super Bowl LIX. The trailer features the Marvel antiheroes Yelena Bolova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and John Walker (Wyatt Russell), who are needed when the Avengers are not available.

The trailer also features Julia Louis Dreyfuss’ CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Thunderbolts* opens on May 2.

‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’

Tom Cruise is spotlighted in possibly his final turn as Impossible Mission Force Agent Ethan Hunt in the 30-second Super Bowl spot for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Several familiar faces in the Mission: Impossible franchise return for the eighth M:I film, including Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Greg Tarzan Davis, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell and Angela Bassett.

Joining the cast for director Christopher McQuarrie’s film are Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Holt McCallany, Tramell Tillman and Janet McTeer. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning opens on May 23.

‘Lilo & Stitch’

The classic animated tale of Lilo & Stitch gets the live-action treatment in a new film starring Hannah Waddingham, Zack Galifinakis, Tia Carrere, Billy Magnussen, Courtney B. Vance and the voice of The Wild Robot director Chris Sanders as Stitch. The Lilo & Stitch big game spot has Stich wreaking havoc at Super Bowl LIX.

Lilo & Stitch opens on May 23.

‘How To Train Your Dragon’

Like Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon leaps from the animated to live-action realm with a remake of the first film in the franchise. Mason Thames stars as Hiccup, who befriends the injured dragon Toothless.

How to Train Your Dragon also stars Nico Parker as Astrid, Julian Dennison as Fishlegs and Nick Frost as Gobber. Gerard Butler also reprises his animated role of Hiccup’s father, Stoic for the live-action remake. Directed by the animated version’s filmmaker Dean DeBlois, How to Train Your Dragon opens on June 13.

‘F1 ’

F1 is a race car thriller starring Brad Pitt as former Formula 1 driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and also starring Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Javier Bardem, F1 is scheduled to open on June 25.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’

Set five years after Jurassic World Dominion, Jurassic World Rebirth introduces a new cast to the franchise—including Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey—for more dinosaur mayhem.

Directed by Godzilla filmmaker Gareth Edwards, Jurassic World Rebirth is set to open on July 2.

‘Smurfs’

In the animated family comedy, Smurfette (Rihanna) guides the Smurfs on a rescue mission to find Papa Smurf (John Goodman) after he’s been kidnapped. Smurfs—which also stars the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Kurt Russell, Natasha Lyonne, Dan Levy, Octavia Spencer, Nick Offerman, Sandra Oh, Alex Winter and Xolo Maridueña—opens in theaters on July 18.

‘Superman’

While James Gunn’s Superman did not have a trailer before Super Bowl LIX, the writer-director was joined by his dog, Ozu, for a special message during Puppy Bowl XXI on Animal Planet on Sunday. The message included a couple of brief clips of Superman’s (David Corenswet) dog Krypto.

Superman, which also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Wendell Pierce, Milly Alcock, Mikaela Hoover, Edi Gathegi, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Anthony Carrigan, Skyler Gisnodo and Sean Gunn, and opens on July 11.
