Ryan Kaji is ready for his big-screen debut. The 12-year-old star of an expansive YouTube empire stars in the new trailer for Ryan’s World The Movie: Titan Universe Adventure, a feature-length film that will begin its theatrical run on August 16.
Titan Universe Adventure is a co-production between the Kaji family’s Sunlight Entertainment and their partners at pocket.watch, the media company that works with some of the internet’s biggest family creators. Last year, those two firms announced their plan to extend the Ryan’s World brand to the silver screen. Titan Universe Adventure is a project centered around the Red Titan, the character that is becoming the face of the Ryan’s World brand as the titular boy continues to grow up.
The new trailer for Titan Universe Adventure shows how the movie will introduce the Red Titan within a relatable real-world narrative. Ryan and his sisters will lend their voices and likenesses to the animated film, which will transport its stars into a fantastical world occupied by the superheroic Titan and his “Big Bad” enemies.

The film owes its anime-inspired visuals to Shin-Ei Animation. The Tokyo-based animation studio has contributed to popular Japanese family franchises like Doraemon and Crayon Shinchan.
“Making a feature film has been a dream of ours that became a reality,” said Ryan’s father Shion Kaji in a statement. “We are over the moon that we will be able to share our newest, biggest adventure yet and connect with even more fans who love to laugh, play, and learn like we do when Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure hits theaters this August.”
Viewers who buy tickets to Titan Universe Adventure will be able to see several pocket.watch partners on the big screen — not just Ryan and his family. Other members of the film’s cast include Evangeline Lomelino of GEM Sisters, magician Dan Rhodes, and Stella Wallace of The Stella Show. They’ll been seen across more than 2,100 locations once Titan Universe Adventure reaches its mid-August theatrical release date.
