The latest trailer for My Hero Academia: You’re Next teases several incredible battles starring Deku, Bakugo, and the mysterious Dark All Might, along with many of the beloved series’ other characters, in what might be the best film in the franchise yet. With Kohei Horikoshi’s manga series recently reaching its final chapter, My Hero Academia fans are very excited for more well-animated content showing the Heroes at the heights of their powers.
After All Might delivered one of the series’ most satisfying moments with his defeat of All For One using the United States of Smash attack, he passed the torch onto Deku and the next generation by making a pose and pointing at a live camera feed saying the word’s “You’re Next.” However, according to the newest trailer posted on TOHO animation‘s YouTube channel, All Might’s young students were not the only ones to take the message to heart.
My Hero Academia: You’re Next Teases All Might’s Evil Doppelganger
A Dark Reflection Of The Former #1 Hero Is Class 1-A’s Ultimate Enemy
My Hero Academia: You’re Next takes place before the Final War arc that the Studio Bones anime has begun adapting. From the trailer, a powerful villain who looks almost exactly like the buff All Might, along with a considerable number of other formidable villains, is up to no good. The movie’s release date is for US and Canada theaters is October 11 and once that arrives fans will see how Deku and Class 1-A match up against the All Might-like villain and his forces.
The fourth movie in the MHA franchises was released first in Japan on August 2, 2024, a time when emotions for the series were high because its official manga was coming to a conclusion. With My Hero Academia‘s story ending, the new movie has the potential to provide another chance for the series and its cast to delight and surprise fans at least one more time with the level of skill they have developed throughout the entire series.
You’re Next May Prove Why You Shouldn’t Meet Your Heroes
An All Might Impostor May Tarnish His Legacy Unless Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto Can Stop Him
Deku and Bakugo both had to face off against the original All Might during a particularly intense test at UA High School. However, both young heroes have leveled their skills up considerably since that bout. While My Hero Academia: You’re Next has a villain pretending to be All Might, if he uses the same strength and abilities, it might become the greatest battle in the franchise. Fans can see for themselves in North American movie theaters on October 11, 2024.
