‘Rachel’ movie romantic track out: Honey and Roshan shine ahead of December 6 release
Honey Rose stars in ‘Rachel’, a gripping revenge thriller, with the film’s first song receiving praise for tender lyrics by Rahul Manappatt and composition by Ishaan Chhabra.
The first song from the upcoming film ‘Rachel’ has been released, captivating audiences with its poetic lyrics and soulful melody. Opening with the lines “Kannil Maarivillin Chendu…”, the track features Honey Rose, Roshan Basheer, and Baburaj, and is already drawing attention for its emotional depth. Written by Rahul Manappatt, composed by Ishan Chhabra, and sung by Ahi Ajayan and Jeevan Padmakumar, the song blends tender lyricism with evocative music.
‘Rachel’ follows the story of a bold and fearless young woman, Rachel (Honey Rose), and her romantic bond with Nicholas (Roshan Basheer), who works alongside her father, Pothupara Joy (Baburaj). The song captures the intensity of their hidden love and hints at the emotional core of the film.
The trailer suggests that ‘Rachel’ is a revenge thriller, featuring themes of love, conflict, vengeance and bloodshed. Honey Rose plays a transformative role as a butcher, marking a notable milestone in her two-decade career. Baburaj appears in a pivotal role as her father, and the film’s ensemble cast includes Chandu Salimkumar, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Jaffar Idukki, Vineeth Thattil, Joji, Dinesh Prabhakar, Pauly Valsan, and Vanditha Manoharan.
Directed by debutante Anandini Bala and co-written by Rahul Manappatt and Abrid Shine, the film is produced under Badusha’s Silver Screen Entertainment and will be released on 6 December in Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The film’s technical team includes Swaroop Philip (cinematography), Manoj (editing), Ishaan Chhabra (music and background score), Sujith Raghav (production design), and Sree Shankar (sound design).
