Netflix recently dropped the deets on an upcoming Korean thriller movie titled Wall To Wall. Led by director Kim Tae-joon of the Unlocked fame — the highly-anticipated title will feature acclaimed actors Kang Ha Neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo. Here’s all about it.

Romance isn’t the only thing Korean entertainment knows its way around. Some of its most award-winning productions boast intriguing plot twists and grand mysteries — keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. This includes titles like Parasite, Oldboy, Memories of Murder, and Train To Busan — each clocking in high viewership ratings. The latest to join this lineup is Netflix’s original movie Wall To Wall — a Korean thriller that sees a financially stifled man deal with mysterious noises in the complex of an 84 sq.m apartment that he drained the entirety of his resources to buy. At the helm of affairs is director Kim Tae-joon, who’s roped in actors Kang Ha Neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo. Here’s what we know so far.

Determined to buy an apartment, a man uses up all his financial resources. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse — high-interest rates fusing with strange noises from the neighbours every night.

Meet the cast of Wall to Wall

Leading the action is When The Camellia Blooms and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryo actor Kang Ha Neul. He steps into the shoes of Woo-seong — who taps into his stock investments, savings, loans, and even his mother’s garlic farm to buy a home. Only to be rewarded with financial burden and strange neighbours.

To deal with this predicament, he approaches the resident representative Eun-hwa — played by actress Yeom Hye-ran of the Mask Girl and The Glory fame. She seeks to maintain harmony within the complex. Joining them in unravelling the mystery of the persistent disturbance is another resident named Jin-ho — played by My Name is Loh Kiwan star Seo Hyun-woo.

The release date of Wall to Wall

According to multiple sources, the filming of this thriller is slated to wrap sometime in August 2024. Hence the estimated release date is sometime in early 2025. However, no official sources have released any statement regarding this as of yet.
