Actor Jason Momoa has shared a final tribute to New Zealand as he wraps filming here for an upcoming project.

The star posted a series of pictures on his Instagram yesterday to commemorate the end of filming for the Minecraft movie.

In the caption for the post, Momoa thanked the cast and crew of the video game adaptation.

He also shared a tribute to New Zealand.

“I love this country. Aotearoa New Zealand you are magical. Mahalo for letting me film here.”

Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, Jemaine Clement and Oscar-nominated actress Danielle Brooks are also starring in the film, expected to be released in April next year.

Momoa has been spotted across the country in the past few months, from a meet and greet at an Auckland liquor store to an appearance on the red carpet at the Sylvia Park premiere of his film Fast X.
