The Idea of You star Nicholas Galitzine has shared a striking first look at his transformation for the long-delayed Masters of the Universe movie.
It was announced last year that the actor will play the film’s protagonist He-Man, a superhero who uses his superhuman strength and abilities to defend his native planet.
Galitzine has now shared a first-look photo from the film on Instagram, which features a close-up of his character’s muscular torso – the result of “several months of intense training” – as he wields the Sword of Power.

Masters of the Universe will introduce 10-year-old Prince Adam, who separates from his magical Power Sword after crashing to Earth in a spaceship.
The synopsis continues: “After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor.
“But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!”
Masters of the Universe was originally being developed for Netflix and was previously set to release in March 2021, before the streamer dropped it in the summer of 2023 following years of delays. The film has since moved to Amazon MGM Studios and is now set to arrive in cinemas on June 5, 2026.
