Actress Raushni Srivastava is excited to be featured in a movie that aims to shed light on mental abuse. This film, titled “Kalika,” also stars Raja Guru and Saarrh Kkashyap as lead actors in the cast.
Raushni Srivastava states, “Currently, mental abuse is an often-discussed topic. The film ‘Kalika’ highlights how verbal and emotional abuse can affect one’s mental health. It shows how a narcissist manipulates others, portraying himself as a victim in order to get things done to his advantage. I’m delighted to join this venture, along with a great cast including Raja Guru and Saarrh Kkashyap, as a way to spread awareness about mental abuse .”
The awe-striking background score of the film is being composed by Afsar.
Raushni, who made her acting debut on the TV show Raghukul Reet Sada Chali Aayi, which featured superstar Rajesh Khanna, also earned praise for her writing debut in “Tyypes of LOVE.”
She believes that “Any good deed, no matter how small, creates a ripple effect,” continuing, “As a team, we have worked our best to create awareness about emotional/ verbal abuse; it is tailored to destroy one’s self-esteem and confidence and undermine a personal sense of reality. To understand how such abuse can affect us, I encourage people to watch our movie, which is slated for release in two months.”
Raushni will also be seen in Dhiraj Singh’s upcoming film, tentatively titled, “Main aaungee Hawa Banke”.
She is known for featuring in shows like “Yeh Chanda Kanoon hai”, “Koi toh hai ardhnareshwar” and “Zindagi ke rang”.
