The film explores the events during the Indian Emergency era under the leadership of Indira Gandhi, portrayed by Kangana Ranaut. The Buckingham Murders
The mystery thriller directed by Hansal Mehta, features Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role as a detective. This film marks Kapoor Khan’s debut as a producer, partnering once again with Ektaa R Kapoor after their previous collaborations on Veere Di Wedding and Crew.
The plot says– Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective grieving the loss of her own child, is tasked with investigating the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. The film premiered globally at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023.
