The penultimate arc of Demon Slayer is hitting theaters on September 12, 2025. So, viewers who haven’t seen the anime or read the manga can watch the following.
Mugen Train Arc: It is one of the most crucial arcs in the series. The arc sets the story for the subsequent ones. There are both theatrical and series versions, but viewers who are short of time can stick to the movie. It covers all the main plot points, including introducing Rengoku, a Hashira, and Akaza, an Upper Rank demon.
Swordsmith Village Arc: Demon Slayer Season 3 covers the Swordsmith Village Arc. In the season’s first episode, “Someone’s Dream”, all of the Upper Rank demons gather for a meeting in Infinity Castle. It introduces some of the major villains that will appear in Infinity Castle, including Muzan Kibutsuji, the main villain of the series. Watching this episode is good enough to learn about the villains that the Demon Slayer Corps will face.

While the entire season focuses on the Corps’ members’ training, the final episode, “The Hashira Unite”, is the most important one. It pits all the Hasira against Muzan at the Ubuyashiki mansion and connects directly to the movie.
