Emma Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos’s creative partnership continues with their latest film Bugonia, which is one of many new movies on VOD this week. Also out now is the romantic drama Regretting You, and the latest from Richard Linklater, the biopic Blue Moon.
Blue Moon is a biographical drama about a night in the life of songwriter Lorenz Hart (played by Ethan Hawke), who is lamenting the end of his creative partnership with Richard Rodgers on the opening night of Rodgers’ first musical with his new partner Oscar Hammerstein, Oklahoma! The film takes place in 1943 as Hart attends a party for the musical’s Broadway premiere. The cast includes Margaret Qualley, Andrew Scott, and Bobby Cannavale.

The movie revolves around the members of one family who are all affected in some way by a tragic accident, and will provide you with a nice, cathartic cry if you need one. The cast includes Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco and Mason Thames.
