Out of his 10 films, only two became box office hits and eight became major failures.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was Akshay’s biggest film in terms of budget, which is reportedly Rs 350 crore. The film, starring Tiger Shroff in the lead role, is expected to collect Rs 75 crore in India and over Rs 100 crore worldwide.

After Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay has eight new films in the pipeline, ranging from biopics, action films, comedy entertainers, airborne action thrillers, period epics and a comedy-drama.
During the trailer launch of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar looked back at some of his recent films and their box office collections. He said, “We keep trying every kind of film. I don’t stick to any particular genre. I keep jumping from one genre to another, whether I succeed or not, that’s how I have always worked. I will keep doing… something that is social, something that is good, something in comedy, in action.”
