Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are officially back in action.

Nearly 30 years after they first shared the screen as Mike and Marcus in the buddy-cop action flick, Bad Boys, the movie star duo are once again reuniting for an acton-packed adventure — and the occasional ginger ale — in Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

Sony Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the film on Tuesday, building excitement for what will be the fourth entry in the franchise. The Bad Boys movies follow Smith, 55, and Lawrence, 58, as a pair of detectives working for the Miami Police Department; but instead of fending off baddies as usual, the latest installment sees the duo fighting for survival on the wrong side of the law.

“The world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy,” reads the synopsis. “But this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.”

The trailer sees the duo caught up in their typical high speed hijinks when Marcus requests they stop the car to buy ginger ale for his upset stomach. Unfortunately, his pitstop only leads to more trouble. Not only does Marcus grab skittles and a convenience store hot dog — which are bound to exacerbate his stomach troubles — he also ends up catching the attention of an armed goon. Luckily, the titular bad boys know their way around a brawl.

Later in the trailer, the real plot reveals itself: Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano) is in trouble and needs Marcus and Mike to step up, and come to his rescue. But things take a turn when their actions are misconstrued, making them targets at the center of a police hunt.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die comes from directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with a script penned by Chris Bremner. Along with Smith, Lawrence, and Pantoliano, the film stars Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Tasha Smith, Ioan Gruffudd, Paola Nuñez, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, and Tiffany Haddish

You can see Mike and Marcus dodge bullets, survive explosions, and forget Reba McEntire‘s entire discography in the trailer above. Bad Boys: Ride or Die arrives in theaters on June 7.
