Jennifer Lopez, Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown all turned out for the press junket in New York City for their Netflix movie Atlas.
The sci-fi adventure film is about a brilliant data analyst (Lopez), with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, who joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past.
But when the plans fail, ‘her only hope of saving humanity from AI is to trust it,’ a press release for the film revealed.
The Jenny From the Block singer, 54, looked gorgeous in a long-sleeved, sheer, white top and pants.
Her long brunette locks were styled in loose waves and her makeup featured her radiant complexion, dark, smokey eyes and sun-kissed cheeks and lips.
Simu, 35, looked cool in a white t-shirt, stylish black jacket and black pants.
Sterling, 48, opted for a color blocked shirt in shares of grey, black pants and white athletic shoes.
The Kim’s Convenience star and This is Us actor also clowned around on the red carpet.
In one shot, Liu stands behind Brown with his arms around his waist in a classic Prom post.
In another shot the actors stand back-to-back with their arms crossed looking like a poster from a buddy movie.
The Hustler actress plays Atlas Shepherd and her mission takes her and her troops to a distant planet where the robot named Harlan is plotting to launch a strike against Earth.
Atlas must also battle against her total distrust of A.I. and robots and team up with a friendly robot named Smith (played by Gregory James Cohan).
Brad Peyton directs the film written by Aron Eli Coleite.
Simu plays the mysterious robot Harlan while Sterling plays Colonel Elias Banks.
Lopez is producing Atlas through her production company Nuyorican Productions and their deal with Netflix.
Lopez and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and longtime manager Benny Medina have a deal with the streaming service in place.
Atlas debuts on May 24 on Netflix.
