Strange World is currently out in theaters and has been getting a diverse mix of reviews. Some love it, and some find it the same old Disney, but it’s certainly proving that there’s still a market for a traditional family fantasy adventure flick. In fact, some people might be wanting to watch similar movies right after Strange World.

Thankfully, this is a genre that’s rife with classics, and while not every single one is an Oscar nominee, that doesn’t really detract from their inherent value as heartwarming works of art. No matter how campy it gets, these movies never fail to bring a smile.
