Aryan Khan To Direct A Superhero Movie After Ba***ds Of Bollywood Success? Here’s What We Know!
Following the success of his directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, Aryan Khan is reportedly preparing to launch a Bollywood superhero universe based on Raj Comics, aiming to bring some of India’s most beloved comic book characters to cinemas. Sources suggest that Super Commando Dhruva will be the focus of the first film, with Doga leading the second. An official announcement is anticipated in January 2026, with production expected to start soon after.
Aryan’s first film, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2025, and was produced by Gauri Khan. The movie, featuring actors such as Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, and Anya Singh, received widespread praise. Industry figures, including Salman Khan, lauded Aryan’s directorial skills during the Joy Forum in Riyadh.

Now, Aryan is shifting his focus to the superhero genre, adapting iconic Raj Comics characters like Super Commando Dhruva, Nagraj, and Doga for the big screen. Reports indicate he has partnered with Raj Comics and its owners, the Gupta brothers, to develop this cinematic universe.
A post on X stated, “UPDATE—The first movie of the RC comic universe will be based on Super Commando Dhruva—Aryan Khan x Lakshya once again. —Announcement in January, 2026—The movie goes on floors in February—Expect a December release. (Acc. to current plans).”
The same post added, “Aryan Khan x Raj Comics—As of now, two movies have been finalised for RC comic universe.” The second film, reportedly centered on Doga, is currently in the scripting and casting phase.
