1. Fan

SRK played a superstar and his fan in this film, which tells the toxic nature of the hero-worshipping culture in our country.

The famous song “Jabra Fan” was not a part of the film.

2. A Wednesday!

This film by Neeraj Pandey still stands as one of the best thrillers in Bollywood, starring Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles.

This film was plot-driven and didn’t have any songs.

3. Black

This intense drama, starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan, beautifully portrays the heartfelt bond between a teacher and his student.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Black was released in 2005 without any songs.

4. Bhoot

This RGV movie still stands superior to many modern-day horror films.

This film lacked songs and the track “Bhoot Hoon Main” was a promotional track.

5. Kaun

This film was also an intense thriller by RGV, starring Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee.

The story was so tight and gripping that the film didn’t need any songs.

6. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro

This is one of the few good satirical films from Bollywood, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri in the lead roles.

The film was directed by Kundan Shah and released in 1983 without any songs.

7. Ittefaq

This 1960 BR Chopra movie was Bollywood’s first film without a song, starring Rajendra Kumar and Ashok Kumar.

Kanoon was a thriller and revolved around a judge and a lawyer, who accuse one another of murder.
